This is a hammered copper bowl we got from the copper-smiths in Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. The hammer's footprint is very visible in this bowl because hammer is basically the only tool used to get this piece of art.
This bowl was made from one sheet of copper and was raised with the artist hammer. There are no one welded joints. You will be delighted by the reddish finish this bowl has.
Hammering the red-hot copper is an ancient technique the copper-smiths use. No sophisticated tools were used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it its shape. This is a unique gift for your loved ones or for yourself.
