This copper vase is pronged all the way around it the bottom part. It has the brownish copper color characteristic of natural copper. Made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer. This is an pre-hispanic technique the copper-smiths use, where no sophisticated tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer. No special seams or artist signatures on it, but that does not mean nothing compared to the beauty the artist put on it. Made by the skilled Mexican copper-smiths. It might fit close to a fireplace.
