This ceramic double-toggle switch plate is a great example of the beauty Mexican craftsmen put into each item they create. The ceramic is fired at high temperatures to give it its hardness. Most of the Talavera ceramic items are first hand-painted with a white coat. The decoration is then drawn over the first coat of paint.

You may find that it has some imperfections, due to its hand-made nature, but it is what makes it all the more unique. Because the switch plate is handcrafted and hand-painted, no two switch plates are the same! There may be small variations in size and color.

This switch plate makes for a unique accent to any hacienda, country, or southwestern- style home. This particular design is multicolor. The predominant colors are orange, light green and terracotta over a white background.
