This hammered bathroom copper sink is a beautiful piece of art, the rim is flat (1" wide), allowing it to be under-mounted, the bowl is 17" x 12". From a copper sheet the wise artisan hands transform it into this unique piece. This bathroom copper sink has a standard 1.5" diameter opening and it does not have an overflow system. The hammer footprint is very visible. The reddish/oxidized texture is characteristic of copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, technique that the copper-smiths use. The finish is antique-looking.

This copper sink was made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer, there are no one welded joints.

Hammering the red-hot copper is an ancient technique the copper-smiths use, where no sophisticated tools are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it the shape. We got this bathroom copper sink from the skilled copper-smiths from Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. Suitable for your bathroom, it will add a unique home accent making it a very special point of attraction in your bathroom. The copper sheet is 16 gauge (0.05" thickness).
